Purdue cruises past Vanderbilt in home opener

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WEHT) – Elijah Sindelar and Rondale Moore helped Purdue push past Vandy with a 42-24 win in their home opener on Saturday afternoon.

Sindelar threw for 509 yards and 5 touchdowns. It was the first time a Boilermarker QB had 400 plus yards in the air since Drew Brees in 1998.

While, Moore caught a career high 13 passes for a career high 220 yards and one touchdown.

Purdue hosts TCU on September 14.
