Purdue falls to Illinois 24-6

WEST LAYFAYETTE, Ind. (WEHT) – Another slow start plagued Purdue as the Boilermakers fall to Illinois 24-6 at home on Saturday afternoon.

Illinois held Purdue scoreless through the 1st half, as the Fighting Illini jumped out to a 17-0 lead at the break.

The Boilermakers only score came in the 4th quarter from backup quarter, Aidan O’Connell connecting with Payne Durham.
