WEST LAYFAYETTE, Ind. (WEHT) – Purdue lost their conference opener to Minnesota 38-31 at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday.

The Boilermakers dropped more than just a game, Purdue had two key players leave the game on the same play. Starting quarterback, Elijah Sindelar, & All American receiver Rondale Moore both exited the contest with injuries.

It appeared Sindelar hurt his left shoulder and Moore may have injured his left leg.

Purdue visits No. 12 Penn State next Saturday.
