Reds caravan visits Cincinnati fans in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A big crowd of Reds fans gathered at Eastland Mall to talk Cincinnati baseball.

There is a lot to discuss this year, the Reds are finally expected to contend in the National League Central.

The annual team caravan made a stop in Evansville. Today’s visit featured players like Amir Garrett and Josh Van Meter.

Plus, owner, Bob Castellini, say’s all the offseason hype is for real.

“Our guys have been terrific, we have some really good guys coming on and we are happy about it, people about this year and i say ‘stay tuned’. What we want to do — keep our stands full, you can afford to keep up.”

“We have some good additions to the team to the talent that we already have. I feel like we are going to be a really good team this year. This year will put us over the top of the league and I’m excited to get out there.”

The Reds caravan also visited other cities like Indianapolis and Louisville.
