Senior Night: Rhule & Lasher

Sports

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – High school senior athletes all across the Tri-State have been robbed of their spring seasons due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So, we would like to recognize those seniors who were not able to “play ball” this spring.

First, it’s Castle’s Peyton Rhule played lacrosse for the Knights. He also enjoys fishing, his favorite memory is winning the JV championship two years in a row. He plans on studying communications at Ball Stat.

Second, Reitz’s Emma Lasher is a high jumper that was a previous regional qualifier. She had hopes of making state this year. Emma plans on continuing that event at the collegiate level at USI. She will be majoring in digital marketing.

If you know of a senior who had his or her spring season wiped out, email Randall at rparmley@tristatehomepage.com
