EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – It’s time to begin our Senior Night series where we honor those high school senior athletes who won’t be able to compete this spring due to the corona virus.

First, Grant Stern is a senior at Reitz High School were he plays for the varsity lacrosse team. Over his lacrosse career Grant has been 1st team all conference, 2nd team all conference, all American, Indiana State All-Star and had the honor of playing as a representative of Indiana at the USSA Nationals in Dover, Delaware and for MXB Elite in Boston. After high school, Grant plans to study business at Edgewood College where he has accepted a starting position on their DIII men’s lacrosse team.

Second, it’s Apollo’s Daylin Crabtree. He is a 4 year Varsity starter who made the 2019 All-District team (9th district). Daylin is a pitcher and outfielder. His favorite memory as an Eagle is his first Varsity start on the mound in Myrtle Beach, where he picked up his first win allowing only one run.
