LINCOLN CITY, In (WEHT) Week 7 of the high school football season means another huge game in the Jungle. First place in the PAC will be on the line Friday night. Undefeated Heritage Hills hosts undefeated Southridge. Jessica Wimsatt previews the showdown from Heritage Hills practice.

With only three weeks left in the regular season we’re starting to see the front runners to make some serious noise in the postseason. Two of those teams going to battle here in the Jungle on Friday. It’s the battle of the unbeatens as Heritage Hills and Southridge aim to keep their perfect records intact. That’s tough but both teams say they’re up for the challenge.

(TODD WILKERSON – HERITAGE HILLS HEAD COACH) Southridge is a great football team, a great program, they’ve been in the state finals and the semi-state for the past two years. So their kids know how to win. They’re well coached, they’re very fundamental, and they play hard so you know we’ve got to come screwed in. They realize they came off a big win but they’ve got to get locked in for this week.

(COLE SIGLER – HH SENIOR) They run the ball very well, they play hard and they’re physical and have good defense so it will be a good challenge for us. Monday through Thursday we try to keep it pretty chill you know be intense at practice but Friday night of course you’re gonna have adrenaline going out there.

(SCOTT BUENING – SOUTHRIDGE HEAD COACH) Heritage Hills obviously as a tremendous football team. It’s a tremendous challenge. Scheme makes it a challenge, Their players make it a challenge, their coaches make it a challenge so it is something we’re really excited about because anytime you get a chance to play a team of this caliber you’re gonna learn a lot about yourself so we’re looking forward to it ut obviously though this will be our biggest challenge up to this point.

(CONNER OXLEY – SOUTHRIDGE SENIOR) Their group of seniors is just like ours, just tough kids that will go through just about anything to win and I think that’s why their successful. They’re a good team, they’re gonna make a bunch of plays but we’ve just got to stick together and make more plays and we’re very confident team, we’re confident in each other, we’re confident that we’re gonna get the job done every week.

Now the Patriots have dominated so far this season outscoring opponents 262-40.The raiders have won a little less dramatically but the fact of the matter is nobody has figured out a way to beat either one of these teams so far this season, that of course all changes for one of them come Friday. From Heritage Hills, Jessica Wimsatt. Home Team Friday.
