TELL CITY, Ind. – (WEHT) Things feel a bit different at Tell City this season. The Marksmen, who have only had one winning season since 2001, have secured a winning record and turned heads this season.
“I think a lot of it is belief, the kids believe in themselves. When they step out of the locker room, they have a feeling that it could be a good night and they’ve prepared and are ready to go every Friday night. They’ve really stepped up, and they’re really being a part of a program,” said head coach Aaron Clements, who is in his second season with the program.
The Marksmen currently sit at 5-2, their only losses coming from powerhouses Heritage Hills and Southridge.
Up next, Tell City will be at Gibson Southern Friday night.
