The Deaconess Classic for Women’s Health kicked off it’s 25th year on Monday as local women gathered for the event at Evansville Country Club.

This year’s event featured LPGA golfer Brittany Lincicome as the guest speaker. Lincicome spent the morning showing her best golf tips to the attendees. After the clinic, the golfers enjoyed lunch before heading out to the course for the tournament. Local business donated dozens of prizes for the event as well.

“To have this many women come together for sucha a special event is so cool, I have never seen anything like it,” said Lincicome. “I’m honored to be here.”

The Deaconess Classic for Women’s Health has raised over 2 million dollars in its twenty-five years and has helped provide over 12,000 mammograms.
