“There’s no question the SIAC is a tough conference. North understands that but the Huskies are wanting to prove they can be competitive in league and postseason play. Coach roach’s squad is hungry for more after they are off to their best start since 2014.

“I think we have a lot of talent here, they are used to winning. We have some younger guys who are now juniors who got a taste of that varsity level last year. I think the sky is the limit with this team, we are still growing and have a long way to go. We are starting to mesh together and see how capable we can be of being a good basketball team.”

(CHANDLER MOORE)
“After a tough season last year, I could see why were under the radar. But I can see us being different this year for sure. This year, I think we are definitely more hungry and more motivated because all of these other teams are getting more recognition. I think the older guys are stepping up with their leadership, and we are all just coming together.”

(DOMINIC REDDING)
“Last year we got off to a slow start with some of our games, and we had a nice quick little start to give us some confidence this year. We have a lot of talent on the team this year, with some of our sophomores and our freshmen. Our freshmen are doing a good job on their season so far. It leaves us a chip on our shoulder every single year because every single game, we want to win, we want to prove something to the city (of Evansville) that we shouldn’t be slept on.”
