Henderson Co. Judge Executive discusses possible gas tax increase

Ky. (WEHT) — Lower gasoline taxes in the Commonwealth typically keeps prices per gallon down, but the call to increase the current tax of 26 cents per gallon is growing louder by the Association of Kentucky Counties.

Indiana’s tax is now at 30 cents and Illinois is at 39 cents a gallon.

Henderson County Judge Executive Brad Schneider joined Shelley Kirk to talk about where the money goes, how much the tax could increase and more.
