K9 Detection offers a different take on obedience training. Our training is a two-week course we call ‘Doggie Boot Camp’. During that time boarded at our facility your dog will learn the basic commands needed to have an obedient dog. We teach the dogs to respond to both visual and verbal commands.
A Hands-On Approach
Our obedience training is different from other facilities because we have a very hands-on approach. The purpose of this is to make sure your dog gets the most out of the training. While your dog stays at our facility they will be worked with multiple times throughout the day. We make sure there your dog gets a lot of outdoor play. Your dog will learn to heel, sit, down, stay and come. We will teach these commands vocally and with hand signals and from walking or stay position. At the end of your dog’s training, we will have you come in and interact with your dog and the trainer.
