EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Local leaders hope that high-speed Internet will put business expansions on the fast track in Evansville.
On Tuesday, AT&T officials spoke with local leaders about the company’s investment at Evansville Regional Airport. The company placed fiber optic cable at the airport’s Air Commerce Park. Air Commerce Park is located on the property of the Evansville Regional Airport.
Airport officials say this is an exciting opportunity for the community.
“Well, it provides economic development for our communities,” said Nate Hahn, Executive Director of Evansville Regional Airport. “We have a thriving community that is growing.”
The fiber optic cables will provide high-speed Internet to companies looking to expand in the area.
