Auto Outlet owner offering reward after car stolen


FAIRFIELD, Ill. (WEHT) – A business owner in Fairfield, Illinois is looking for a car he said was stolen from the lot.

The owner of the Auto Outlet said around 6:30 Sunday morning, he found the office window broken.

According to a Facebook post, the owner said a white 2012 Chevrolet Cruze with a noticeable dent in the front passenger side fender was stolen.

He told us a silver Kia Optima pulled into the lot, and he thinks that was the car the suspect arrived in.

If you have any information, you are asked to call police. The owner is offering a reward.

We reached out to Illinois State Police but have not yet heard back.
