Cardi B postpones Indy show due to threat


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WEHT/CNN) – Rapper Cardi B postponed her performance at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis because of an “unverified threat.”

Indianapolis police wrote in a tweet that they had been notified of the threat, but the public was not in immediate danger.

The concert has been rescheduled for September 11th.

The venue said in a statement that tickets for the original date will be honored.

Cardi B tweeted about the situation later, apologizing for the postponement.

She finished the tweet with the line, “my safety and your safety first.”
