EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- The Vanderburgh Community Foundation and the Warrick County Community Foundation have made scholarships available through their Community Scholarship Programs.

Each scholarship is unique and supports students with a variety of backgrounds and educational goals.

The Community Foundations Alliance offers tips to help the students complete their application such as working on it earlier, as well as asking a friend or teacher to read over the application for any mistakes.

The Community Foundations Alliance serves 9 counties throughout southwestern Indiana. They hold more than 1,200 named funds established by individuals, families, businesses, civic groups, and agencies to improve the quality of life in their local communities.

Warrick County Community Foundation scholarship applications are due by 11:30 pm on Wednesday, February 12. The online application form can be accessed at www.CommunityFoundationAlliance.org/Warrick.

Vanderburgh Community Foundation scholarship applications are due by 11:30 pm on Wednesday, February 19. The online application form can be accessed at www.CommunityFoundationAlliance.org/Vanderburgh.

Applicants are allowed to apply for more than one scholarship. For questions about the application process, contact Sidney Hardgrave, Regional Director of Community Engagement and Impact at 812.573.1454 or shardgrave@communityfoundationalliance.org.
