The smallest mistake can cost a golfer a tournament. That’s why some have an extra eye out on their every move.
Several players are using the Trackman Radar System this week to track their shots and swings. Club speed and ball spin are just two of the many variables it measures. Some golfers say it helps them find flaws in their swing they can’t see themselves.
“If you can save one shot a round,” said Web.com Pro Dusty Fielding, “it’s a difference between winning and losing, by a shot or two and also the difference between $30,000 and $40,000.”
Fielding says he uses Trackman for club maintenance and to help figure which ball to use.
