Local charity working to make a difference for tornado victims

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- While clean up continues in Tennesse after tornados ripped through the middle of the state people in the Tri-State continue to help.

On Saturday members of Truckers Helping Hands took a trailer filled with supplies to Nashville to help the relief efforts.

Trucking company Silver Creek Transportation was a collection spot for the donations this week.

Organizers say they want to help because they know the people there are hurting.

They say this is the first of many loads they hope to take to music city.
