FLORIDA (ABC) – New threats about mass shootings caught the attention of law enforcement.
Police continue to encourage people to see something, say something.
In Florida, there were two separate reports of a high school student threatening to shoot up their school.
One student was taken into custody after authorities received a tip about a post that he made online.
According to police, the boy wrote “This is a genuine feeling. I want people to suffer.”
The boy was arrested with his mom by his side.
Police arrested a hotel cook in California and a 20-year-old in Ohio, both for threatening to carry out a mass attack.
Police and federal authorities say at least 14 people have been arrested just this month for intent to carry out mass attacks.
