OPS approves energy savings contract

OWENSBORO, Ky.(WEHT)- The Owensboro public school board approved a multi-million-dollar contract to save on energy cost.

Officials approved a $13 million dollar contract with C-M-T-A Thursday evening. The project included new lighting, improvements to heating and air conditioning systems, as well as improved building insulation.

Work from the contract is expected to start this summer.
