HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – A crash involving a semi has Interstate 69 backed up in western Kentucky.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office says a two-vehicle crash was called in around 2:10 P.M. Wednesday at the Hanson Exit.

A picture posted on social media shows the semi with extensive damage to the cab.

The Sheriff’s Office says the crash could have been a lot worse than it was and that no one has died.

Investigators still have the interstate at least partially shut down while they remove the debris and piece together what happened.
