Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office honor deputies

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT)- The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office honored its deputies Friday and added on to its department.

A ceremony was held at the old courthouse in downtown Evansville. Several deputies were promoted and two deputies received the Life-saving awards.

The sheriff’s office also swore in its newest deputy Derrick Rue.

The office announced it donated nearly $20,000 dollars to the Hadi Shriners temple and Deaconess Riley Children’s service.
