Severe storms topple trees, down power lines


(WEHT)- Parts of the Tri-state dealing with damage, after strong storms rolled through the area Thursday.

Those storms brought down some trees and power lines.

A tornado warning was even issues for two of our Illinois counties.

In Evansville, a tree fell on what appeared to be a vacant house near Linwood and Jefferson.

No one was hurt.

Near Haynie’s Corner, apart of a tree fell into a house on Adams Avenue.

The tree hit an electric box and started a small fire.

CenterPoint reported dozens of small outages across Evansville.

Kenergy reported a few hundred outages across Western Kentucky.
