EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Winter temperatures are already in our forecast and when you’re driving in winter weather, there are several things you need to know to make sure your car will hold up.
- Make sure you have a good battery. Mechanics recommend changing it every three years. A bad battery can cause a whole host of problems – none of which you need when it’s 20 degrees outside.
- Fill your fluids. Check your antifreeze and oil levels.
- Make sure your wipers are fresh.
- Keep an eye on tire pressure. A 10-degree drop in temperature can alter a previously smooth ride.
