Winter storm sweeps across US

(WEHT)- The northeast is preparing for a winter storm that moved through the midwest earlier in the week.

Icy conditions at Kansas City International Airport caused a temporary shutdown after a plane slid off the runway Friday. Luckily, all the passengers got off the plane safely. In Iowa, icy conditions led to a pickup truck slamming into a delivery truck, though no one was injured.

2-4 inches of snow is expected across Boston and New York, which could impact weekend travel in the northeast.
